Modify wordpress child theme and make other alterations

I have a wordpress site and want to modify a child theme under the master theme of classipress. I would like some other changes made to the site as well and will describe them in detail to the right person. I am looking to start this job ASAP. You must have experience with modifying wordpress themes, and have the ability to work with jquery, mysql. I will require someone that knows how to manipulate the order that posts are pulled into the page, as well being able to pull out posts depending upon category etc; so knowing just the front end of word press is not enough for this project.
