Play Count for Wordpress MediaElement(.js) media player.

I am running a Wordpress website and using the inbuilt Wordpress media player for playing music on the site. I have created meta field for play count. I want the player to have a play count function. Whenever a play button is clicked the play count should add count by incrementing the database referencing to the post_id. You need good experience of Jquery and Wordpress enqueue function as I don't want any jquery function you are putting in the head to break any wordpress jquery function. Using Wordpress enqueue Jquery in the [login to view URL] file to deal with Jquery will solve this. Note: view count is not what I'm talking about. User can view a post once but play a track on that page 4 times. So when view count is 1, play count should say 4. If you know what you are doing this should not take more than 2 hours to complete.
