Interface board project 2 for Beagle bone

Design a Serial Communication front end board with 4 UART drivers The board will have the following features 1) The board should sit on top of the Beagle Bone CPU and will interface to 4 UARTs on the beagle bone CPU. One UART would be RS232 One UART would be RS422 One UART would be RS485 One UART would be selectable between buffered TTL and RS232 2) The board will work from a wide input power supply 8 - 40 VDC using a component such as this - Recom Power R-78C5.0-1.0 3) There will be some LEDs on the board to indicate power and UART activity Power In, Power Out, UART1234 RX, UART1234 TX, (10 LEDs ) 4) The two large 46 pin expansion header connectors will be of a male/female type so that another card can be plugged on top of this card. 5) The foot print of this board will be exactly the same as the footprint of another board. 6) The RS485 line driver will have special analog conditioning on TX to allow very long cable lengths it will have rising and falling edges slightly sloped and the signal transitions will not be sharp. For RX there could be a schmit trigger or filter to remove the spikes etc. The cable used is very large conductor size and we will provide a data sheet. 7) The board will have location to install one RS485 terminating resistor both as a surface mount pad and as a thru hole 8) Silkscreen will be legible to allow clear labeling of terminals and components. 9) The following UARTs will be used UART1 RXD TXD UART3 RXD TXD UART4 RXD TXD jumper selectable between UART0 RXD TXD UART2 RXD TXD
