Recreate Lo-poly Downtown Cityscape The task is to re-create a small portion of downtown Vancouver using given photographic references and google street view. Sidewalk objects not required. Please read ahead to find out what is required. Ability to improvise using limited resources is essential! Buildings - 25 total - 6 in HIGH detail Target facades - use high rez refs provided. Other facades - use high rez refs provided where possible or improvise using images from bing maps or other source. 2. Signage or other attachments to Target Facades 3. Sidewalk contours + road - use high rez refs provided or generic textures Refer to [login to view URL] to see which buildings are required in high detail. See [login to view URL] for an example of a HIGH detail facade. The following items DO NOT need to be modeled: 1. The building directly north of the intersection 2. Sidewalk objects (benches, post office boxes etc.) 3. Streetlamps, poles etc. 4. Trees 5. Cables We are providing: 1. Sample model of a textured HIGH detail building facade. Meshes should be clean and well-constructed. 3. Textures should be well-applied with no visible stretching. 4. Texture maps should be added to one 4k square atlas as shown in Sample_Atlas.zip. LOW detail buildings will need less room on the atlas. We're working on a tight deadline, so our Milestones will be: 1. Two days - modelling half done 2. Two days - modelling complete 3.
