Online Assistant to Designer

The Assistant to Designer position is a full-time entry level position that works closely with and assists the Designer. The assistant will learn how to achieve the company’s design vision for each operation by strategizing with the Designer ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant to Designer duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assisting as a liaison between the Designer and representatives. Sets up appointments for Designer and attends when requested online. Responsible for changing, clarifying, and rolling out new direction when design needs shift. Responsible for following up on direction and design through the process, including installation. Responsible for picking up samples and running errands. Ability to assist with project management. Utilize knowledge of Auto CAD to assist Designer with impending projects. Stage any appropriate locations for review of the Designer. Prepare various computerized reports related to the responsibilities of the position. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 - 3 years of design experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Auto CAD experience required. Revit and Sketch Up experience desired. Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects is required.
