Hello, I'd like know more details, please, and have some questions as well. You have all sources of the project, correct? Regards to the 'security in the sources'.. Too many things depends on details and implementation, and goals of such 'security'. For example, a developer might write a difficult, 'spaghetti-like' source code, with tricky names of variables etc. intentionally even ... I'd like look on what you have at present to inform you about possible time/efforts/price of the project. And let's start from the 'compilation' phase at least. Best regards Igor P.S. Hello, We are a team of software engineers with 6+ years of experience in professional software development. We have had experience and success in fixing/upgrading and maintaining foreign code. Compiling the code should be no problem but it depends on the current state of the project. To make an actual proposal we would have to know more details about the requirements and examine the existing code. For example, what is the purpose of the existing application, what does it actually do? How large is it (eg how many units, forms, lines of code), what third party libraries are being used if any? What exactly are the requirements in terms of removing security and maintenance? MY INTRODUCTION: I am having 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft technology stack, that includes 3+ years of experience working with CMMI Level 3 software company. So i am very much aware about common pattern and best practices to be followed not only in programming but for overall project cycle.
