Hello, my name is Fuly Peña, I am an architect and builder. The ideal is to raise about 6 inches more than the split, this would make the hole above the beam or a little higher. the other thing is that 3.4 inches is very big. for there are only to stop the drainage the split. and the gas pipes, another look at the size of the drain outlet, which is the one that needs the level below, and the pipes can make another hole.

Hello, I am writing this proposal to During the installation of a mini split AC. I had to drill 3.5 inch hole for the pipes. The hole goes through wooden beam above a large window and I wanted to consult regarding drilling the hole. Thanks Neha Sharma

Greetings, In response to your project, I would be able to calculate the drilling holes and bolt diameters according to the layout. Recently, I have finished a bolt design project which was supposed to find an appropriated bolt diameter for anchoring into the brick walls.
