Full Time Video Editor for Podcasts and Reels

Our podcast production agency is seeking a talented and creative Motion Designer/Video/Audio Editor with YouTube expertise to join our team. As a key member of our fast-paced and growing agency, you will collaborate with an international team of experts to produce audio and video podcasts for entrepreneurs, coaches, and consultants across various podcast categories. The ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for creativity and integrity and capable of adding value to our dynamic team through continuous skill development. During the initial 2-week trial period, both the candidate and our team will assess compatibility. If the relationship proves successful, the opportunity for long-term employment will be extended. Responsibilities: - Design and Create Video Templates: Develop and design video templates for our production pipeline, ensuring they align with our brand and meet the needs of our clients. This includes creating elements such as YouTube bumper intros, Endcard Backgrounds, Lower 3rds, title sections, YT CTA (Subscribe, Like, Bell), Audiograms, and Reels (vertical videos). - Video and Audio Editing: Edit video and audio content as required, seamlessly integrating intro/outro/commercials/stingers into podcasts. Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality output. - Audio Production: Handle audio mixing, mastering, cleaning, EQing, and compressing audio files. Remove any irrelevant sections from the audio, such as private conversations, long pauses, or filler words, while adhering to the host's requests. Tag audio files appropriately. - Sound Bite Selection: Identify and select compelling sound bites for episodes when necessary, enhancing the overall listening experience for our audience. Incorporate appropriate sound effects and animations as required. - Show Flow Familiarity: Possess a solid understanding of different types of show flows, being able to adapt to various formats and requirements. - Client Facing Technical Consulting: Advise and consult with clients on audio and video setup, hardware, software, and recording techniques when needed, ensuring optimal production quality. Qualifications: -Min. 2- 3 years of experience in audio and video editing and production. -Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to work. -Proficiency in using Click Up and Slack for project management and communication. -Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Auditions (or equivalent DAW for mixing and mastering Dialogues) is required. >>You will be disqualified without this: Write "Cheese" naturally as part of a sentence in your application. Preferred: - Podcast Production experience - Knowledge of emerging AI tools for production efficiency is a plus. - Experience with utilizing templates from platforms like Envato to expedite the creation process is advantageous. Budget: This is an ongoing project where you'll be regularly assigned to our clients episodes for a complete set of produced audio, video and 2 reels to be completed within 24 -36 hours. $50 per episode (episodes vary between 10 min -1.5hrs) We look forward to reviewing your application.
