Ben Croft Website Book Launch Project

Hi Guys Thanks so much for your interest in my projects and hard work. It is always appreciated:) Today I have something really interesting for you which I am sure you will enjoy and will get your creative juices flowing. My brother is a fiction/fantasy author and has just released his first book in a delightful pdf format. He would like you to design a website to help him launch his e book. He has a very specific idea in mind. If you go to [login to view URL] you will get the kind of idea he is looking for. You will notice that the site has two parts. One is the interactive site where users get to do fun activities like interact with the characters etc. The other side is where the book is actually sold. Requirements: The successful candidate will need to do the ffg: * Read the book to get an understanding of the genre, the characters etc * Submit a detail plan and proposal for the site including costing etc * Incorporate a WordPress blog into the site. My brother would like to blog as five (5) of his characters to users so that users will have that real interactive feeling. *Create some activities that users can enjoy doing when they visit the site, fun facts etc. that type of thing. *Create a sales side to the site where users can (a) opt in with their details to download the first few chapters. This will be linked to Getresponse to manage the collection of data and email marketing and (b) purchase the book online. Shopping cart to be integrated with Clickbank to manage credit card and Paypal processing. Book is to be uploaded to Clickbank's Fiction section. After payment, users can download book directly from Clickbank. (You will need to research this process and give feedback) * Domain and hosting will be discussed but you will be required to support and maintain the site and make updates from time to time as and when required.
