I need a batch file that starts and stops a service if it is set to manual (demand) but do nothing if it is set to automatic (auto). It needs to checks to see if software running as a service is set to automatic (auto) or manual (demand) and IF it is automatic, do nothing, and if it is manual start the service. Writing the start or stop is easy, but I'm having trouble with the IF part to skip a service that is set to automatic.
