Add eCommerce functionality to a current Wordpress website

We are looking to add eCommerce functionality to our existing Australian WordPress website. WooCommerce is installed but has no cart components so we are after a shopping cart system that will help manage the sales process. This job would suit a developer who works well with and welcomes input from clients. You would also need to be willing to advise and give options where necessary. Developers who have strong experience in creating eCommerce solutions with WordPress and WooCommerce and can deliver a functionally rich shopping cart system are welcome to apply. The job will entail: • Updating all plugins and WordPress components. • Implement a tracking system to report user page visit data. • Setting up and doing all works in a staging area so we can assess progress and site functionality. The current site will remain live during the works. • Add cart facilities to single and multiple product pages. We have products already listed on the site. o Regarding multiple product pages we mean one item but sold in various weights. • Add relevant check out, customer registration and other eCommerce pages as required. • A secure payment gateway integration • Advise and add freight pricing requirements to cover all products delivery within Australia. • Final website should include full eCommerce functionality where clients can register or continue as guest, order and pay for products in a simple, intuitive process. Our role and responsibilities: • Product pricing and updates – preferably in bulk through importing/exporting an excel file for example. • Freight pricing – National. You would set up the system and we will supply pricing. • Product text and images – most already exist. • Adding future products. Happy to further explain any area of the above.
