Document Formatting - Christmas!

Need Microsoft Word Guru to help me with a very large Christmas document. You do NOT have to write anything, all the content is there. I just need help with the functions of the document, like organizing the content into a logical flow, formatting the pages, and adding a clickable table of contents. The table of contents is likely to be pretty long. The recipe section for instance, already has a table of contents to start with - but there are a lot of single recipes that I would like to be linked from the table of contents to head directly to the selected recipe. Likewise with other sections. What I have done so far is compiled a bunch of information into one document, and need a great person to organize, format and then pass it to me to add images, and my own writing, deletions, additions etc - and then I'll pass it back to you for the table of contents. ## Deliverables Document is about 800 pages, but there are spaces that will need to be taken out to cut down the page length. In other words - some pages may be 1/4 - to 1/2 blank, so all spaces would need removed during formatting the document. Document is currently in verdana 11 point font - I would like to keep it that way. I can bold the headlines, and other things myself after the initial organization and formatting. Organization: - what I mean by this, is I would like the sections to be logically organized, so that "about Christmas" and it's traditions might be up top, then flow down from there into the crafts, recipes, children's stories, gift ideas, etc. Some things are not in the correct place. There may be a couple duplicates that would need taken out - for instance two of the same crafts. Or some information may have been copied twice and the duplicate will need to be removed once everything is in the correct sections. As long as the content is located in the right sections, (as in all the crafts are in the craft section, all the recipes in the recipe section, etc) and it flows in an organized fashion, I'll be happy! Formatting: - I would like things like the bullet points to be the same throughout the document - whether you use dots, checkmarks, or whatever - but right now bullet points are not matched throughout. I would like the doc to be in verdana 11 point font, and single spaced, with no glaringly obvious interruptions. Some portions seems to be double spaced, some are single spaced, etc. I'd like everything to be consistent throughout the document. On the recipes, they will need a bit of formatting to make them look decent. To me they just don't look formatted well, but I'm not a Microsoft Word guru, so I'm not sure how to get them to look right. I would like someone to do the initial organization, and formatting first - pass the document to me, then give me a day or two to add some images, check the organization and do some additions and deletions before creating the table of contents. I'll pass my work back to you, so you can build the linked (clickable) table of contents. I think that would be the best way to go, because I THINK that the TOC would need created AFTER the document is completed - but if there is a different way to do that please let me know. I have no clue how to build a table of contents - which is why I'm looking for someone else to help me with this. Even though the document is large - this should be an easy job for someone who is really good with Microsoft Word. I'm good enough to get around in it - but don't know how to use all the various functions to do what I'd like it to do. Also, I will be adding some linked content into the document - and would like to have you create a .pdf after creating the table of contents that would keep all of the links in tact. So the final deliverable would include the word document, and also a .pdf version of the word document that retains the link integrity. I've created .pdf documents where it either doesn't pick up the link - or the link goes to the wrong place - even if it IS correct in the word document.
