I need a php 5.3 compatible script and three functions that use Google Contacts API ([login to view URL]) to add and update entries in an address book. Function 1: addressbook_add (id, first name, last name, phone, address, city, state, zip) will insert the entry in the google address book. Function 2 is addressbook_update. It will take the same arguments and will update the entry. Function 3 is addressbook_delete which will delete the entry given the id.

Hi there I presume you know that Google contacts API require user to authenticate via Oauth. This means user will leave your website and authenticate from Google server and then you will be able to manipulate user contacts. If this is what you need then can you please answer following questions: 1. Do you need a class to handle this job? 2. OR do you need an application to handle this job? Thanks

This should use oAuth2 authentication for accessing the contacts over API. So, it should involve the integration between javascript code and server side code such as PHP. The javascript will handle the client authentication and the php will handle the api request. So, do you agree with this method?
