I am in need of shoppingcart/ecommerce software for an online retail store. I will be selling waresfrom a variety of vendors and wish the payment and shipping details to be theirresponsibility. Although I want all items to be placed in one shopping cartwith one checkout, there needs to be a way for all vendors whose products have been purchased inthe sale to handle the payment and shipping. An example of what I am lookingfor is [[login to view URL]][1] [login to view URL], although [login to view URL] does not have the payment method I prefer.? The vendors will sell theirwares on my site via three different “packages?? and I will need a way to notethis so that their access to the admin panel reflects the proper informationfor which they have permission to view. The basic package would allow thevendors to make changes to their products, payment and shipping information,etc. An upgrade could include an entire page devoted to one vendor. On thispage there will be products for purchase, a short bio, calendar/events, abilityto play mp3s or video files if applicable, “add to?? buttons for twitter,facebook, myspace, etc. if applicable. Ideally I would like to have thesefeatures as a check off list so that when I enter the vendor information intothe admin panel, I can check off which features they have access to on theirown panel. I will also be offering emailand mail-out marketing and will need an information submission page in thevendor panel. This information may include a way to upload an email or mailinglist, Event details, etc.? Of all the multi-vendorshopping carts I have looked into, I feel the Interspire Virtual Mall softwarewould be a good fit, however, it is well outside my budget but will provide areference for some of the features I am looking for. I will also need a skin forthe site, however, will most likely use a template and modify it to fit myneeds.? ## Deliverables The Home Page: I am not sure how to address this from a description standpoint because I don't know how you would code such a layout. The home page will have an image of a building and in the "windows" of the building I would like to place images of either product or people. These do not have to be live buttons, however, I will change the images and/or text from time to time.? The attached is two screen shots as an idea for the home page although it's not exact. The idea is that the website is a mixed use building community and within this building you have residents (ie shopping by personality similar to [login to view URL]), A Community Center, Coffee Shop, Bookstore, Shared and Private Studios (ie various categories). The home page will reflect the image of the community and will not have actual products listed. Private Studios will "house" one vendor with the entire page devoted to their work, bio, calendar, mp3/video, ability to follow on twitter, etc. Share Studios will house (5) vendors. The page will "house" a short bio and (5) product images each. When a product is selected you will go to a page showing all of their work for sale.? Each product page will have a header with a graphic representing the category and all products will be listed below similar to [login to view URL] and supermarkethq.com.
