Hi! This is Jimena Guislain, Project Manager in ComTranslations. I am contacting you because we are looking for new collaborators to work with us throughout the year in our Walk Together audiovisual project in the language combination: EN>LT. We will be receiving material at the end of the month for translation and proofreading. Each film is about 90-120 minutes long. The material you would receive for translation are: • A trailer • A feature • A title + synopsis In order to evaluate your qualifications, we are asking our translators to take a test on subtitling. You have then 2 options: 1. For those who don’t have experience with Aegisub, which is the software you would have to use for this project, we can send you a tutorial on how to use the software and how to use Netflix Style Guide in order to create good subtitles. After watching the tutorial we can send you the test. 2. If you already have experience with Aegisub and Netflix Style Guide we can send you the test ASAP. Please let me know if you are interested and which option you [login to view URL] please send a copy of your updated CV The fixed rates for this will be: • For translation: $2.5 per minute of video • For Proofreading: $1 per minute of video

I also have a high experience with English as well, as it is my secondary language and I use it in my everyday life just as much as Lithuanian. I haven't done any job on freelancer, but I have been working on upwork for a while, so if you have an account there, you can check clients reviews and make sure that I am a responsible worker. Talking about subtitling, I have almost three years of experience in this field. On my spare time I have been translating movies from English to Lithuanian, adding missing lines and so on. I have also created subtitles for a several movies, which did not exist at the time of translation. Aegisub is the software I use for this work.
