OUTLINE: I need a Shopify solution that allows me to order custom products from [Beyond Print] ([login to view URL]) beyond what is available through their integrated Dropshipping App. For this reason, all orders through my store need to be made through the [Beyond Print API]([login to view URL]). Please be aware that there is not a great deal of documentation with this API so please factor that in and if need be check the API info and make enquiries first to be sure you know it is feasible. I have found it very hard to get more information from them. Potential Additional Functionality My Products are all Limited Editions, and there will only be “one” print available per Image (product), which means there is a one-to-one relationship between the original image and the final product regardless of the variants chosen. So, the final product could be print-only, a framed version or a mounted version of any available size but after the single available Print has been sold once - it should not be sold again in any other variation. These are unique one-time Prints. This is tricky due to the way that the Shopify Store tallies up inventory, calculating variants rather than Products. A single sale will constitute: - a Glicée Print of the clients chosen size (from 34”, 42”, 48”, 54” or 60” - all variants). - Choice of paper (variant) - Any Mounting or Framing (more variants). - Certificate of Authenticity (pulled from cloud storage to be sent with the ordered Print via the API for Beyond print to print and send with the Delivery) - Branded Personalised Thankyou Note (pulled from cloud storage to be sent with the ordered Print via the API for Beyond print to print and send with the Delivery) - Branded Stickers for Shipment (pulled from cloud storage to be sent with the ordered Print via the API for Beyond print to print and send with the Delivery) - Shipping & Delivery Charges Need to be Calculated - If Print Only - straightforward free Shipping. - If Mounted or Framed - additional charges based on BeyondPrint prices. - An additional Duty Paid Delivery Charge to be levied on all Overseas Items depending upon the Country. Therefore I am looking for a Shopify app developer to create a custom app that integrates with the Beyond Print API. The app will need to perform the following tasks: - Retrieve product information: You'll need to create functionality that fetches data from the Beyond Print API, including pricing information, delivery details and available variants. This is crucial for seamless product integration and user experience. - Place orders: The app should be able to process orders directly through the Beyond Print API. This includes ensuring the accuracy of product details, pricing, and delivery options. The ideal candidate for this project will have experience in: - Shopify app development - API integration, particularly with Beyond Print - E-commerce and inventory management - Strong understanding of web technologies, especially in relation to product data management. Please provide examples of previous Shopify app work and any similar API integrations you have undertaken. Your understanding of the Beyond Print API will be a key factor in the selection process.
